VIEW / The ideology of Russia should become attractive to the whole world :: Politics
After the start of Russian special operations to ensure the sustainability of changes in the global world order. And although it is still unclear what kind of world order awaits the planet, Russia must be resilient and resilient to an integral national ideology. But what should it be like – aimed only at solving national problems, or vice versa – to unite other countries and peoples around Russia that share our basic values?
“Before discussing whether Russia can offer some new ideology, I would put the question in a different way: does the world expect such a proposal from us or from anyone else?” “. politicians” Fyodor Lukyanov. He noted: if before the events of 2022 Moscow broadcast in a program that can be called the ideology of multipolarity, now the situation has clearly changed.
The international political scientist shared their opinion at a round table on the topic “What ideology do we need?”, which was held on Thursday by the Expert Institute for Social Research (EISI). As noted by the moderator of the meeting, director of the Analysis Meeting Center Pavel Danilin, such a formulation of the issue does not run counter to Article 13 of the Constitution, which considers that “no ideology can be perceived as state or mandatory.” “The set of basic ideas and approaches used in most societies is not mandatory, pardon the tautology,” Danilin noted.
Up to a certain point, Russia developed a certain set of ideologems throughout the world, Lukyanov recalled. “Firstly, it is multipolarity, that is, the absence of anyone’s hegemony,” the expert noted. – Secondly, this is a fair structure of the world – so that no player from Europe receives undue benefits. It was a pass on what used to be called the second world – that non-Western world that believes that even today the benefits of the global economy are not evenly distributed.
Thirdly, Russia added the rights of all societies, Western and non-Western tourists, according to their traditions, laws and customs used by Lukyanov. “Traditional values are not necessarily a unifying commitment. They are traditional because they happen for every sample of communities, specific nations or groups of countries,” the expert explained. At the same time, Lukyanov’s increased attention, even for non-Western countries, participation in the economic global, in the world order that caused protests against the West, supported the ideology of multipolarity and the observer who is being pursued by the world revolution in Russia.
But the events of February 2022 dramatically changed the global agenda, the analyst noted. “A special military array in Ukraine can be compared to the fall of a rock that triggered an avalanche,” Lukyanov said. CBO has become an international catalyst, an accelerator of the disintegration of a miscible structure. “The dysfunction of institutions is growing. All world rates are increasingly being coordinated in the decision-making mode,” Lukyanov said.
According to the opinion, it is now unproductive and dangerous to think about what the global world will be like “after the avalanche”. “Any ideas on the world order are not of great use, this is a game of the mind,” Lukyanov is sure. – Therefore, the ideology should be exceptional with separate tasks. It should not be based on how we like the world or how we see the world.” The ideas of some kind of global infection are irrelevant if the infection is on the agenda, Lukyanov concludes.
The idea of an international expert, the President, was developed by the Institute of National Strategy, a political scientist and philosopher Remizov. In his opinion, it is necessary to have a high ideology, suitable for peacetime and – for thrills. “This is clearly seen in the perception of the Soviet Union. During the Great Patriotic War, the USSR put aside its peacetime ideology – proletarian internationalism. In return, the USSR took on the acceptance of what it did not have before – Russian patriotism – unexpected Remizov. “It turned out that in the conditions of intercepting the country for survival, it was patriotism that became a more reliable motivator than those who moved by 1941 on their peak communist ideology with all its classical heritage and propaganda apparatus.”
The political scientist stated: “No one has any doubts that the current situation in the Russian Federation is a struggle for survival in the face of the ultimate challenge.
The collective West has announced a ban on destruction. The key mobile device of this war of the West is the state of Ukraine – an extremely dangerous anti-Russian project.”
According to Remizov, during the NWO in Ukraine and in the conditions of the Cold War with the West, the ideological model of the “country-system” should become relevant for Russia. We are talking about such public events in which the state is able to ensure economic and technological sovereignty, the political scientist explained. “The criterion for success in the fight against the West is the acquisition of stability by the Russian Federation in the new quality of a country that cannot be turned off from the game, “cancelled” – and which can request its basic needs. So far, we are very far from this, ”the analyst noted.
Developing his idea, Remizov partly did not accept it with Lukyanov – in his opinion, the intellectual class should think not only about the mobilization ideology, the identification for the identification of the state, but also about the “ideology of world time”. “After the collapse of the globalist model that was discovered built around the United States, which can be called neo-colonial, Russia can become an attractor – identified attractions in a new, polycentric world,” the expert believes. “Our country can offer a model of a civilization model, which represents a certain Christian meaning and price features of classical European modernity, this is a certain economic model that is different from the model that has currently formed in Western civilization,” predicts Remizov. According to his figurative expression, on the basis of such ideas
“it is possible to build a Russian ark sufficiently capable of staying afloat.”
“I propose to act on the contrary,” the political scientist and philosopher noted. – It’s okay if we come up with our own civilizational project, starting from what we don’t like about the Western mutated civilizational project. In the West, a dystopia is being built at a reliable pace, which gives us many clues about how to make up both this and the alleged image of the future. Attractive, including for many people in the West.”
A somewhat different ideology of the new, post-colonial world of time is ready to be elected by State Duma deputy, candidate of philosophical sciences Oleg Matveychev. In theory, the fundamental idea for Russia and for all non-Western humanity may not become a value of European modernity (from what postmodern Europe itself has now abandoned), but Eurasianism – a combination and co-creation of Russia, as a separate civilization, and the civilizations of the East: probably, Indian, Arabic and others. “Now we must understand that that Russian ark can only be built taking into account Siberia and the Far East, and therefore, ideologically, we must also go towards a larger Eurasian station, and in its updated version. Moreover, now there is everything political, cultural, and scientific,” Matveychev is sure.
“We have outgrown Westernism and Slavophilism, calls to build a USSR 2.0 raise doubts. Eurasianism should become our ideology,” the expert summed up.
Gleb Kuznetsov, the head of the EISI Expert Council, put the question quite differently. “Do we need an ideology as such?” he remarked. Kuznetsov recalled that Karl Marx spoke of ideology as a “false hatred” that is spread by the ruling class to justify its dominance. “Which, however, does not prevent us from making Marxism the dominant ideology in the USSR. But one can speak of an ideological monopoly only in a one-party state,” Kuznetsov accuses. From the point of view of perspective, it would be rational to go from the concept of “ideology” to the term “values”. Values, in contrast to ideologemes, the separation of people, regardless of their manifestations, are noted by experts. “For us, real estate is family, sovereignty, solidarity. These are concepts that describe how society should be in order for the country to continue to exist,” Kuznetsov believes.
Accepted with Kuznetsov and. about. Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University Alexei Kozyrev. Ideology, he recalled, is primarily an instrument of political struggle. In a society where there is political pluralism, this is an instrument of party polemics. “We should not talk about ideology if we want to confront the people. This is a national development strategy. People must realize their right to a decent position,” Kozyrev said.
“Our society needs the ideal of a human creator, without this impossible development,” Kuznetsov, in turn, drew attention. – Important concepts of justice, honesty, the value of collectivism. In general, the question is not whether an ideology is needed. The question is what our country should ultimately be like if our values are realized.”
