Permanent representative of the Russian Federation in Vienna: Russia will find other buyers of oil
After a partial ban on the import of Russian oil to Europe, Russia will be able to find new buyers for raw materials. Such a permanent representative of Russia to international organizations in Vienna is Mikhail Ulyanov.
“How is she (European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. — “b”) yesterday she said correctly, Russia will find other importers. It is noteworthy that she now adheres to yesterday’s generally recognized demand. Very quickly there is an opinion that the EU is not being used,” he wrote on Twitter.
On May 30, the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, announced that the leaders of the countries had joined the agreement to ban the import of two-thirds of oil from Russia. Immediately after this, the price of Russian Brent oil on the London ICE exchange exceeded $118 per barrel for the first time since March 25.
According to Kpler analysts, Asia has overtaken Europe in purchasing Russian oil. According to them, from 74 to 79 million barrels of oil were received in transit from OPEC countries over the past week. This more than significantly increased the volume of oil in Russia on tankers ahead of the operation in Ukraine.
23 May The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen Roskoshi, is against the immediate and complete rejection of Russian oil. According to her, in this case, Russia can resell this oil at inflated prices on the market, which will replenish its treasury.
