Toulouse: shots at the Minimes, the shooter was drunk
Alerted by neighbors exasperated by the noise, municipal police arrested a man suspected of having fired a weapon, Thursday evening in Toulouse.
Initially, as often in the sector of the Place du Marché aux Cogs, in the Minimes district of Toulouse, the intervention of the municipal police officers concerned noise. A group that Thursday around 1:30 a.m. was too loud for the neighbors.
Once there, the officers discovered a man visibly drunk and injured in a hand. And above all, they saw a distraught 18-year-old boy arrive. “He wanted to shoot me,” said this man. Inquiries taken, the police received a call for “shots” in the same neighborhood.
The municipal police have pushed their investigations. They did not find a weapon but three cartridges struck and a last one intact; a blank ball. The weapon, however, remained untraceable.
The suspect, aged 26 and already known for acts of violence, was arrested and referred to the national police. He was first placed in sobering up. He should be heard in the context of police custody this Friday, May 27 by the police officers of the judicial support group. The young man targeted to file a complaint.
