Kaufland Bulgaria increases the salaries of its employees in 2022
In 2022, Kaufland Bulgaria undertakes an increase in the remuneration of the teams in the store network, exceeding the continuing increases in recent years, in order to provide additional security for its employees and to upgrade its employer practices in their favor. Since April, the salaries of the employees of all stores on the page have been updated, which will gradually cover the other units in the company.
As a result of the planned measures, Kaufland’s teams in 35 Bulgarian cities, where nearly 80% of the company’s team works, will increase revenues by an average of 15%. In some regions of the site, this figure is growing by an average of 18% * – including an increase in food vouchers and other additional payments. The change affects nearly 5,500 employees of the Kaufland store chain. In 2021, according to the company in the labor market, the increase will be an average of 7%.
The change will cover the other units of Kaufland Bulgaria – logistics center and administration. The total investment in salaries and insurance will increase by 21% at the company level. One of the factors related to the remuneration policy, which guarantees security, is an employee of the company, which is included in the employment contracts and increases the salary during the first four years in the company. Nearly 60% of employees have been working at Kaufland for more than 3 years and are going through all four steps to continue their development there.

The company seeks to continue to explore the possibility and use additional measures in its staff remuneration and acquisition policy to ensure that competitive pay and current social benefits.
