Pražská plynárenská, Pražská energetika and Sportovní Slavia Praha will cooperate on the development of energy management and hydrogen technologies
A tripartite memorandum concerning mutual cooperation in the development, operation, financing and modernization of energy management within the Eden Sports Complex was signed today by Pražská plynárenská, Pražská energetika and Sportovní Slavia Praha. The subject of the memorandum is mutual cooperation and transfer of experience in the field of operation, financing, securing subsidies and modernization of energy management, renewable sources and hydrogen technologies. In this context, Pražská plynárenská focuses mainly on gas boiler rooms, cogeneration units, heat pumps and hydrogen technologies.
“In relation to the region and its inhabitants, our company fulfills not only the role of a reliable and important supplier of energy and energy service providers, but also a socially responsible partner contributing to the sustainable development of Prague. As part of this, we logically consider environmental protection and the active promotion of new energy technologies and solutions to be an integral part of our business activities, and we actively seek to participate in shaping the region of the capital city of Prague as a place for quality and happy life. We are pleased to be able to work with such strong partners as Prague Energy and the Slavia Prague Sports Club, said Martin Pacovský, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pražská plynárenská.
The strategic goals include, among others, offering at least 75% of green products to our customers in the future, strongly supporting the use of modern technological solutions, responding flexibly to new energy challenges and related implementation expertise, providing innovative technologies and achieving energy savings. In order to achieve carbon-neutral operation within the Pražská plynárenská Group.
“The share of Pražská energetika in the revitalization of the SK Slavia sports complex consists in the reconstruction of energy networks in the entire SK Slavia sports complex, or in the construction of new networks, including data transmission options. For the heating of sports grounds and other spaces, we count on the use of heat pump technologies, which are today a promising way of highly efficient and economical heating. All of this will be the ultimate goal of achieving energy self-sufficiency, reducing energy costs and being environmentally friendly with high user comfort, ”says Rudolf Červenka, Director of the Energy Services Division of the PREměření subsidiary.
In the PRE Group, it takes care of just such projects and has completed hundreds of successful projects, both in cooperation with the city districts of Prague and in the corporate or individual spheres. Experience gained from previous implementations, for example in municipal buildings in Prague 14, where the so-called energy management “monitors” energy and water consumption to avoid unexpected losses and waste, entitles Slavia Prague Sports Club to optimistic expectations of achieving interesting savings after implementing all proposed measures.
“The Slavia Praha sports club operates extensive sports grounds in Vršovice, apart from energy-intensive operations such as a winter stadium, three swimming swimming poolsor complex sports halls. Dramatically focusing on energy prices have forced us to think about modernizing the energy economy with modern ones on renewables and other technologies. I am very pleased that we have found strong partners in Pražská plynárenská and Pražská energetika with whom we will build a modern energy economy in the Eden complex and thus show the way to other sports clubs, which have also been significantly affected by changes in the energy market “, said the Chairman of the Board Jiří Vrba.
