Poland terminated the gas contract regarding Yamal

“For years, the government has been managing energy, sources and sources of supplies to Poland. After almost 30 years, on May 13, 2020, we adopted a resolution to mutually terminate the agreement with Russia on the construction of gas pipelines for the gas tranche through the territory of the Republic of Poland and gas supply from Russia “- Minister of Order and Environment Anna Moskwa.

Since 2010, the Polish company Gaz-System has been the operator of the Yamal pipeline, as part of the entire gas transmission system in Poland. Since then, we have been gradually increasing the domestic capital over the gas pipeline, complying with European law.
In 2022, the operator has an act which determines that the operator has the exclusive use of the assets of this network, necessary to perform the service function. The operator will not be responsible for issuing the connection functions, ensuring the implementation of the contract for connection of this network. We are leading this increasing fee if you have a transmission with this system, which is to be sent to the ERO warehouse. The provisions of intergovernmental agreements, as contrary to the law, can no longer be in force.
The head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage added that the Yamal gas pipeline is in a manner fully consistent with the title of master, without the head of the boss. Thanks to this, the so-called reverse, i.e. a courtesy to the contract between Poland and Germany, as well as natural gas transit services provided through the territory of Poland from the eastern direction to a German state from western Europe that decides to purchase this fuel from the company.
