Remember The Blind Monkeys? We talked about it at latitudes a few years ago … And we are not, since there are interesting news, these wrong ones concern them: on June 19 at the Visarno Hippodrome the Metallica and Greta Van Fleet stage at Firenze Rocks will open, among the key events of the summer Live Nation. «As soon as we heard – comments the Milanese band – we thought it was a joke. In 2020 the pandemic overwhelmed our lives as we were launching an album, planning a tour and among the possibilities there was also a date in Florence. He obviously skipped everything. We managed not to break down, aware that there were those who were definitely worse off than us and, as soon as possible, we left. For us this concert is a dream and an opportunity to close a circle, starting from where it was destined. We want to live it fully, playing our songs and having fun! We will shake our legs, but it’s part of the game ».
The Blind Monkeys are composed by Federico Arduini on vocals, Paolo Malocco on lead guitar, Edoardo Buonfino on keyboards, Giacomo Moroni on drums and Nicola Rulli on bass. In 2017, alongside the repertoire of British rock covers from the Seventies, the writing of unreleased songs that will lead to the victory of various prizes and awards at local and national level in the following months. In 2018 begins the production of singles and their first album, «Argini», released in August 2020, pre-produced in Sony Music Italy and produced with Music Studios. In parallel with the recording, live performance is a cornerstone of theirs, in a fusion of sound, empathy and primordiality. A big good luck is a must.
