Three species of tortoises
The association will come to introduce itself three land turtle species : testudo hermanni hermanni, testudo hermanni boettgeri and testudo marginata, all three present in Europe. As such, the African Safari intends to implement its three missions “Conserve, protect and raise awareness”, by providing advice as diverse as it is varied to owners of turtles and to the curious who might come across them.
It is therefore on the occasion of the biodiversity day May 22 that the ACB association will answer questions from all visitors. Thus, the Plaisance-du-Touch zoo calls on all enthusiasts, simply reported or turtle owners to go to African Safari! Advice and tips will be provided at the stand, located in the walking park. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness about the protection of tortoises. Food, care, needs of the turtle… The members of theACB be happy to answer visitors’ questions and offer them their knowledge on this subject.
