Russia has limited the export of lead – Secret firm
In this case, we are talking about a progressive desire to identify a shortage of lead on the Russian market in the context of detection of violations. Officials explained that the metal is essential for the production of batteries and is widely used by automakers.
The government recalled that in 2021, in the context of a global increase in prices for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, temporary export investments for them were imported. This helped mitigate the impact of external conditions on the external market, adjust prices for steel products and continue the work of major projects.
Earlier, Secret reported that the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia from April 1 banned the export of sunflower and rapeseed seeds. Also, from April 15 to August 31, a quota of 1.5 million tons was introduced for the export of sunflower oil and the distribution of feed (meal) from it.
In March, the authorities restrict the export of Russian goods to other countries. Now grains will not be sold in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and white and cane sugar – in a third of the country.
Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to ban the import and export of Russian products (according to the list) in order to ensure “the security of Russia and the stable functioning of industry.” After this order, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree banning the export of foreign products from Russia.
