May 10. Interfax-Russia.ru – The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has mixed with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health oversight of changes in tax regimes, which will increase the efficiency of domestic medical equipment, the press service of the department reported.
“In the course of the work, the issue of balancing working conditions for importers and manufacturers of Russian medical equipment was raised.
According to the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov held a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Federal Customs Service, the Federal Accreditation Service, Roszdravnadzor, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a number of domestic enterprises producing medical equipment.

At present, the task is to increase the share of domestic medical equipment in the market up to 50% in two years and up to 80% by 2030. “For this achievement of ready representatives, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia stands for the support of the industry,” the message says.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade added that the manufacturer of medical equipment provides access to a number of state support measures, in particular, subsidies for the production of equipment, components, software development, as well as preferential loans from the Industry Development Fund.
“For the backbone sectors of public credit at a preferential subsidized rate, a number of organizations have already taken advantage of this measure,” Manturov said.
The meeting participants noted the initiative to support the health care protection promotion sector, as well as an increase in the volume of purchases for public needs; with a proposal for a system for regulating the circulation of medical devices on the Russian market, increasing stocks of the reserve and developing state research laboratories for medical devices, the press service reports.
“All these issues will also be worked out by the Ministry of Industry and Trade together with the interested federal executive bodies,” the department noted.
