Russia won the “information war” with the West in the field of coverage of events in Ukraine, declared itself a candidate for the post of US Ambassador to Kyiv Bridget Brink. According to her, the West needs to become “more creative and innovative” in the information space, convey “businessman“.
“We were outmatched and outplayed. Disinformation is widespread in Europe and elsewhere,” Brink compiled during a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on her candidacy. Thus, she commented on the question of Republican Senator Rob Portman about what the US authorities should do in order to “better counter Russia’s attempts to justify” a military special operation in Ukraine.
In addition, Brink emphasizes that sometimes “bureaucracy” prevents the West from being “more creative and innovative” in this matter.
