The last two infertility clinics in Hungary will be closed
The state has rejected the offer to acquire the two remaining surviving private infertility clinics, the state said. hvg. The government’s decision in the two institutions last week letter.
Reprosys and Versys were the last two infertility-free private clinics in Hungary to support ongoing government pressure to accept couples seeking treatment in a non-public institution. The government began grinding private infertility clinics after 2019, when six private institutions were brought under state control. Last summer, the National Assembly passed a decree stating that, as of July 1, 202, only eligible women can be treated at state infertility clinics. The amended health care law will later reveal that the clinic, which was still operating at the time, could choose from three options: either the blinds were pulled down, or it was offered until January 31, 2022, that the government would decide to accept them for purchase. The latter decision was decided by Róbert Károly Meddőségi Centrum Kft., Which was rejected by the government.
Why only Robert was given this opportunity is still unclear, especially in light of the fact that the other two private clinics, Versys and Reprosys, were not so lucky, the paper writes.
