Romania Global News: For 34 million euros, Germany takes over the political control of the Republic of Moldova. Bucharest gave 100 million euros in vain!
The difference between the gesture of Bucharest and that of Berlin is enormous and is not limited to the amount of money made available to Chisinau. Romania has given unconditional support, and the Chisinau authorities will decide on the specific destinations to which the fraternal aid will be directed. While Germany offered three times less so that and not anyway, for part of the money is intended for deeds to the people of the German government. Thus, only 23 million euros would be directed to 3 concrete infrastructure projects, while 10.7 million euros would be what the Germans would call. “Deutsche technische Hilfeleistung”namely “German technical assistance”. In other words, more understandable to all, every third euro offered as a non-reimbursable aid to the Republic of Moldova will return to Germany.
And that’s not all. Of the amount of 10.7 million euros allocated “German technical assistance”8.2 million euros are for the project “Strong enterprises and communes for the Republic of Moldova” and with them will be paid the German councilors who will take care of the local administration and the small and medium enterprises in the territory, and 2.5 million euros are for the project. “Politische Beratung der Republik Moldau”which means Romanian “Political Counseling of the Republic of Moldova”.
This last project, of political advice of the Republic of Moldova, means practically that Germany will take over the political control at the level of the institutions of the Republic of Moldova. That is, Germany will have both the Presidency and the Government and in ministries or armies of German advisers sent on a mission from Berlin to oversee the policy of all decisions of the institutions of the Republic of Moldova.
Given that we have witnessed in recent years a true Russian-German strategic partnership, both politically and economically, both Berlin and Moscow, insisting on the federalization formula of the Republic of Moldova, we can only look at a healthy one. dose of suspicion Berlin’s unbridled desire to provide financial assistance to the Republic of Moldova in the form of “political advice”. Although, rather than gaining an impossibility to now federalize as subjects Moldova, Transnistria and Gagauzia, Berlin could wake up with the whole republic transformed into a German state. Simple and efficient!
It should be noted, however, that in recent months, Germany has become increasingly distant from Russia amid the war in Ukraine, even agreeing to send heavy weapons to Kiev, which for Moscow is tantamount to a move to the enemy camp.
