Debrecen – After two years of absence, the competition was held for the fifth time.
Commemorating the seventh anniversary of the death of Árpád Kóti, Kossuth Prize winner and Jászai Prize-winning artist, Actor of the Nation, heir member of the Csokonai Theater – after two years of forced omission – one of the most prestigious recitation competitions in the region, Árpád Áróád Kóti organized by the Debrecen Theater Studio – in the upstairs lecture hall of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences DAB Club.
The youngest starter was 9 years old and the oldest was 80 years old. The 33 competitors in the three categories (youth, adult, retired) with a Hungarian-language work by a Hungarian poet were judged by a 3-member jury (Sándor Csikos, Kossuth Prize-winning and Outstanding Artist), László Miske and Árpád Bakota (both Mari Jászai Prize-winning actors). in a full room.
The grand prize of the jury in the recitation competition was won by András Mach, a free Hungarian poet.
