Gardeners have also sown more than eighty percent of the area. “Before the construction, it was necessary to cut down a number of trees and shrubs. Most of them were in a neglected and unmaintained condition. The locals can look forward to a much more varied composition of plants, which are much more suitable for the given locality and respect the terraced layout of the place, “described the mayor of Brno, Markéta Vaňková.
Take a look at the track construction:
Currently 195 trees are planted. Maples, ash trees, oaks, lindens, ornamental cherries, apple trees or, for example, horse chestnuts will grow there. Fifteen hundred shrubs are currently growing in the locality, and another five stoves will be planted by gardeners in the autumn. In addition, lawns with ornamental shrubs and perennial beds are planned at the hospital. “The Public Greenery of the City of Brno will take care of the new planting in the coming years,” said Miloš Havránek, CEO of the Brno Transport Company.
