Russia and Russia offer the opportunity to participate in badminton.
The National Badminton Federation of Russia (NFBR) is discussing the possibility of holding competitive and competitive events with colleagues from China, Indonesia, India and Thailand. This was announced to TASS at a meeting of the chairman of the board of the National Federal Reserve Andrey Antropov.
“We are discussing the possibility of holding events with the federations of China, Indonesia, India and Thailand,” said Andrey Antropov. – But due to the scheduled workload of the calendar, it is not entirely clear whether their athletes will be able to participate in extended starts. We are also not very interested in training with our squad. China continues to be in the same situation.”
“We have a fairly large internal calendar, in Russia there are more than a herd of adult and youth tournaments from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad a year,” the TASS interlocutor returned. – A calendar of games for Russian-Belarusian starts has also been created, seven or eight tournaments are planned. I think that these competitions will be of particular interest to young men and juniors. We will hold a joint student championship of Russia and Belarus.”
In early March, the World Badminton Federation announced a ban on international competitions and Belarusian athletes participating in international competitions due to the situation in Ukraine, and all the resumption of tournaments scheduled for 2022 in Russia and Belarus were also canceled.
“We dropped out of the international calendar of events,” the head coach of the Russian national team told TASS. Claudia Mayorova. – I think for Russia it will not be a problem with the participation of players. The problem will be different – to not be able to come to the strongest, who, in terms of competitive ability, do not have the opportunity to play somewhere else.
