Zurich 1: One person was seriously injured after several people had argued
At around 11 p.m., the report was received that a mass brawl was going on in the main hall at the meeting point in Zurich HB. The police officers and security forces who immediately deployed encountered a seriously injured man, immediately arrested three suspects and were able to bring the situation under control. The seriously injured, an 18-year-old Pakistani, was transported to the hospital in an ambulance with life-threatening dangers. As for those involved in the crime, a 32-year-old security guard was kicked in the head with a foot. He was also injured and had to be taken to the hospital.
A short time later, eight young men were stopped by the Zurich city police in District 1. Two are suspected of having been involved in the altercation in the central station. They were arrested and handed over to the Zurich cantonal police. The remaining six men were released after thorough investigation.
Those arrested are five men from Pakistan and Afghanistan aged 15 to 19. The exact course of events is still unclear and is being investigated by the Zurich cantonal police in cooperation with the responsible public prosecutor’s office and youth prosecutor’s office. One with the occasions around the May 1st holiday and the return journey of the FCZ fans is currently not apparent. In addition to the Zurich cantonal police, the Zurich city police, the Transsicura, two rescue teams from Protection & Rescue Zurich, the Forensic Institute Zurich and the Institute for Forensic Medicine were deployed.
