Debrecen – Arturo Sando gives an unshakable concert beyond the seventh x.
When the ten-time Grammy winner Arturo Sandoval first entered the Müpa stage in February 2015, the air glowed. The legendary figure of Latin jazz, who has already shown many aspects of his great musicality, vast technical knowledge and exceptionally entertaining nature, can also be seen in Debrecen.
Arturo Sandoval will give a concert at the Kölcsey Center on May 3 at 8 p.m.
Accompanied by Michael Tucker (saxophone), Maxwell Haymer (piano), William Brahm (guitar), John Belzaguy (double bass), Johnny Friday (drums) and Tiki Pasillas (percussion).
The Cuban musician began his studies in classical music at the age of twelve, but was soon influenced by jazz, paved by legendary trumpet player and conductor Dizzy Gillespie. As a mature artist, he played timeless in deepening the interaction between jazz and Latin music. His magical stage personality has performed in millions of baby-mediated events such as Oscar, Grammy or Billboard awards gala. It boasts more than thirty records, ballet and film music, and its life story has been filmed, but most importantly, beyond seven, they give unshakable concerts – and you can see the audience here in Debrecen as well.
