Ferry connection to Greece and Cyprus after 21 years

After 21 years, the Greece-Cyprus ferry connection starts again. The first voyage will take place on June 19 from the port of Limassol with the passenger-vehicle ferry “DALEELA”, Cyprus Flag, which belongs to the company Scandro Holding Ltd, which participated together with two other companies in the relevant tender announced by the State Ministry of Shipping of Cyprus on November 25, 2021. The last route that will take place on September 16, from Piraeus.
The company Scandro Holding Ltd took over the line with an offer of 15,594,000 euros. There will be a total of 22 routes (4 in June, 8 in July, 7 in August and 3 in September). The journey that lasts 30 hours.
The ship was built in 1991, can carry 400 people, has 38 first class cabins (110 passengers) and 68 second class cabins, 110 seats (airline) and more than 100 vehicles. The ticket in a cabin per person is 80.21 euros and with a return of 160.45 euros.
