Judo Bond Nederland – Various ribbons awarded during ribbon rain
Traditionally, the ribbon rain took place on April 26. Also this year a number of ribbons were handed out to JBN members.

Mr Jan-Pieter Schilderinck (Tilburg)
He has been active within the JBN since 1985: 15 years as a judo referee, 7 years as treasurer of the South Netherlands district, 2 years as district president and no less than 11 years as JBN treasurer. In addition, he was also active for 7 years in the audit committee of the European Judo Union. Mr Schilderinck has also been a member and chairman of the JBN regulations committee for 10 years. Until this year, Jan-Pieter has also been chairman of the union council of the JBN district of the South Netherlands for 9 years. In Tilburg, where he lives, he has been chairman of the SPIO foundation for more than 35 years.

In the period from 1992 to 2012, Mr. Van Haren worked as a national coach/member of the jiu-jitsu technical staff for the national core team jiu-jitsu competition of the Judo Bond Nederland. During that period, more than 20 individual European and World Championship titles have been won, as well as World Games podium places. After 2012, Bert van Haren has been active for a number of years for the JBN as an advisor to the JBN jiu-jitsu department.
Mr. Van Haren has not only worked nationally for the jiu-jitsu competition, but was also internationally active as an international referee until 1992, as an international coach of the coaches and intermediary between international coaches and referees. In 2012, he was named World Instructor JJIF by the JJIF.
Bert van Haren has been active as an examiner at district and national level for 39 years. He has also committed himself to various district committees of the Central Netherlands district of the JBN, such as the district degrees committee jiu-jitsu (DGCJJ-MN). Since 2005, Mr. Van Haren has been chairman of this district committee.

Mr Robert Konter (Losser)
Mr. Konter has already volunteered for various associations and boards. This is at the local judo association (Judo Losser), the BNMO, veterans Losser, the Gerardus procession and many more. In the past he has been active in judo, due to his period of service he had to stop his judo-. During a deployment to the Sinai in 1992, he was killed in an attack and returned seriously injured. Despite the amputation of his right leg, he has started again with disabled judo and even obtained his black belt in 2019.
