The Prague-Prčice march has been taking place since 1966, when five hundred tourists managed to cover a distance of 100,000 Czech elbows, which corresponds to about 60 kilometers.
Fans of tourism will go to the 55th annual long-distance march Prague-Prčice on May 21. While in the previous two years its organization prevented the pandemic, this year it has to reckon with restrictions due to the reconstruction of the railway corridor between Prague and Tábor. They will be able to march only after prior electronic registration. It will no longer be possible to register until the start on the day of the march, said Dana Horáková on behalf of the organizers.
The Prague-Prčice march has been taking place since 1966, when five hundred tourists managed to cover a distance of 100,000 Czech elbows, which corresponds to about 60 kilometers. Tourists last marched in 2019. A year later, the event was postponed due to a pandemic, but in the end it did not take place last year either. It was not possible to meet the conditions regarding the number of participants to obtain a positive opinion of the Chief Hygienist for the town of Sedlec-Prčice.
