A second-degree warning was issued for Hajdú-Bihar due to thunderstorms
Debrecen – The National Meteorological Service warns of thunderstorms all over the country.
According to the alarm signal sent to MTI on Sunday morning, a second instance warning was issued for Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Hajdú-Bihar and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg counties. In addition, with the exception of three counties – Veszprém, Zala and Vas – a first-level warning was issued to the whole country also on Sunday due to the risk of a thunderstorm.
A first instance warning was issued for Győr-Moson-Sopron and Vas counties due to the danger of strong winds.
It was emphasized that the wind is getting stronger in an increasing area, in the western and north-western part of Transdanubia there may be stormy winds, sometimes stronger than 70 km / h, until the early afternoon.
Thunderstorms can occur in several places from the early afternoon. These can be accompanied primarily by stormy winds, sometimes damaging above 90 km / h, and by local heavy rainfall and hail.
