FlixBus will connect Sopron with Berlin via the Czech cities, and will also launch a Prague – Chomutov – Leipzig line
The bus on the Sopron – Berlin route will stop, for example, in Brno, Hradec Králové, Liberec and Děčín.
At the end of April, the Flixbus bus company announced the launch of two new international routes, which will also connect some Czech cities. Specifically, these are the lines Sopron-Berlin and Prague-Leipzig. Buses to the new lines will depart on April 28, the first will be in operation every day, the second from Thursday to Sunday.
“The daily connection between Berlin and Sopron will bring very interesting travel opportunities to the Saxon border and non-traditional direct connections between Liberec and Brno,” said FlixBus spokesman Tomáš Beránek.
The bus will leave Sopron at 7:15, stop at Vienna Airport (8:20), Vienna Erdberg Terminal (8:40), Brno (10:30), Litomyšl (12:05), Hradec Králové (13 : 05), Jičín (14:00), Turnov (14:35), Liberec (15:10), Děčín (16:30), in the Saxon towns Schmilka (17:00), Bad Schandau (17:10), Pirna (17:35) and Dresden (18:00). Südkreuz will arrive in Berlin at 20:30 and will end at Berlin Central Station (ZOB) at 20:50.
He will travel in the opposite direction at 8:00 from Berlin ZOB, via Berlin Südkreuz (8:20), Dresden (10:35), Pirna (11:05), Bad Schandau (11:30), Schmilka (11:40), Děčín (12:05), Liberec (13:25), Turnov (13:50), Jičín (14:25), Hradec Králové (15:20), Litomyšl (16:25), Brno (17:00), Vienna Erdberg (19:55) and via Vienna Airport (20:25) will reach Sopron at 21:30.
The Prague-Leipzig route will also serve Chomutov and the Saxon foothills of Marienberg, Zschopau and Chemnitz. The bus leaves Florence in Prague at 10:50, stops at Hradčanská (11:05), Chomutov (12:25), Marienberg (13:00), Zschopau (13:20) and Chemnitz (13:50). He arrives in Leipzig at 15:00. It will leave in the opposite direction at 16:15, via Chemnitz (17:30), Zschopau (18:00), Marienberg (18:20) and Chomutov (19:00) it will reach Hradčanská at 20:20 and at 20:30 Florenc.
“Due to rising fuel prices, bus travel will be a very affordable alternative for many summer vacationers.” added the spokesman.
