These and other news are in our daily review of the main events of the day in Ukraine.
Graves in the village of Mangush
Mariupol Mayor Vadim Boychenko said that Russian trucks were transporting the bodies of civilians killed in the city and secretly burying them in mass graves in the village of Mangush, 20 km from the city.
These findings were based on satellite observations of the cemetery in the village, made by Maxar, to the discovery that on March 23-26, bulldozers began to dig 30-meter ditches near the old cemetery, and by April 3 there were already 4 mass graves.

According to the mayor, during the siege, especially in the early days of the Invasion, up to 20 thousand inhabitants of the world died in the city. The sick parts of the dead had already descended from the streets, many of whom had to be cremated in mobile crematoria.
Boichenko President Putin’s statement that Russian troops “liberated” the city. In his opinion, Ukrainian citizens continue to conduct observations in the Azovstal area, where shelling of 300 civilians, women and children, who are presumably members of the families of Ukrainian residents, is also seen.
A Washington Post correspondent contacts Svyatoslav Palamar, deputy commander of the Azov Regiment, via satellite, whose fighters are part of the defense metallurgical plant.
According to Palamar, Ukrainian prisoners of war are surrounded by Azovstal, but although Russian troops have stormed the plant for the past two days, they failed to take it.
I order: “Azovstal” not to storm
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to Putin that Mariupol had been taken under control outside the territory of Azovstal, where, according to him, “Ukrainian fighters and foreign mercenaries” were securely locked up.

The battle for Azovstal continues
Putin called the actions of Russian troops in Mariupol a success, but said he considered the assault on Azovstal inappropriate. According to him, this is a case when it is necessary to think about the preservation and life of Russian soldiers and officers.
“Lock down this industrial area so that a fly doesn’t fly through,” Russia ordered, while promising that all Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered would be guaranteed life.
Commenting on this order of Ukraine, Arestovich, an adviser to the head of the presidential office, said that Aleksey only means that the Russian troops did not physically take the Azovstal group and that they understood this.
“They carried tangible fluctuations there, and the defenders continue to hold it … The refusal of our assaults may still be the embodiment of the fact that they transferred part of their forces to the north in order to strengthen the detachments that must observe the main political stop – the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Shelling and positional battles
According to the Ukrainian side, which in wartime are not possible operational consequences of the occurrence, the most acute situation has developed in the Donetsk and Lugansk manifestations.
The first shelling continued along the entire line of demarcation, the second time there were especially shelling and fierce positional battles.
Nikolaev and Zelenodolsk (Dnepropetrovsk region) presented themselves to shelling. In the Kherson region, most of which is under the control of Russian troops, explosions and shelling are reportedly heard in all areas.
After the capture of Kremennaya by Russian troops, they did not achieve much progress. At the same time, the entry of initial positions to Kramatorsk continues, and the city is subjected to rocket attacks.
In recent hours, the Ukrainian authorities have reported shelling a number of other cities.
Eight people were wounded in Zaporozhye by a Russian missile strike. The Ukrainian prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case.
In the Dnepropetrovsk region, three missile strikes took place in the Novomoskovsky district. “Due to rocket attacks on the railroad, five people happened – two men and three women,” said the head of the Dnepropetrovsk military administration, Valentin Reznichenko.

Evidence of the use of Russian cassette income in Ukraine has already accumulated
As follows from the investigation conducted by the Guardian newspaper, Russian troops in Ukraine have lost several types of armed forces banned all over the world at once, and this is a crime of people.
Evidence collected in Bucha, Gostomel and Borodyanka, according to the newspaper, suggests that officials are pursuing cluster budgets and bombs, and are also bombing high-density areas.
Checking the availability of collected newspaper stocks, conducted by the non-profit research part of Bellingcat, confirmed, in particular, on Russian tail bombs of RBC-500 cluster bombs.
Despite the fact that in Russia it is always mentioned that on the facts of attacks on residential buildings and on charges of fraud, after the retreat of Russian troops from near Kyiv, cases of using cassette taxes on homeowners, cars and injuries were found.
These appeals are banned practically all over the world by the 2008 convention, they were detained in places where there were no military installations or Ukrainian soldiers.
“Shocked by the horrors and horrors of Putin’s war on the streets of Borodianka,” Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez tweeted after visiting Ukraine with his Danish counterpart.
Borodyanka was under the control of Russian troops from February 28 to April 1, but authorities say hundreds of people died.

Apparently, Ukraine, including equipping military equipment, provides these American howitzers
US President Joe Biden met with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal at the White House and announced a new $800 million military aid package for Kiev.
Biden said that the new package would include a heavy movement and human rights activists to it, including dozens of howitzers and 144 invaders to them, as well as tactical drones.
According to Biden, new opportunities are sent directly “to the freedom front” – in the interests of the beginning Russian offensive in the Donbass.
Biden also acknowledged that the US is charging Ukraine with “timely intelligence.”
The Pentagon later clarified that the new aid package would include 72 155mm howitzers and 144,000 projectiles for them, 72 tractors for these howitzers, and more than 120 Phoenix Ghost drones, also called kamikaze drones because they measure distance traveled in tens of kilometers and undermine the established goals.
Pentagon sources also said that the first planes with equipment from the new package will fly to countries adjacent to Ukraine in the coming days, and Ukrainians should have the cargo by the end of the weekend.
Latvia and Estonia called Russia’s actions in Ukraine a genocide
The Estonian Parliament says that Russia has stopped acts of genocide and mass atrocities against the world population in the cities of Bucha, Borodyanka, Gostomel, Irpen and Mariupol, as well as in many other places in Ukraine.
The Latvian Seimas, in turn, found that there is strong evidence of massive brutal crimes committed by the Russian army in Ukraine. Earlier, Latvia closed its general consulates in St. Petersburg and Pskov, while Estonia and Lithuania closed their general consulates in St. Petersburg.
On April 14, the Verkhovna Rada recognized the actions of the Russian armed forces as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
Before that, on April 13, Joe Biden called the actions of the army in Ukraine a genocide.
