Staying in Bangladesh for months is expensive for social tenants
An inhabitant of a social rental home belonging to the Haard housing corporation in Amsterdam-East may be evicted after many months of being absent and having illegally sublet. The court ruled that this month.
The resident has had a residence permit in the Netherlands since 1995. He says he normally spends a month every year in Bangladesh, where his and one son live. That habit would have led him to vFrom the end of 2019 to 2021 not in the house in East October. He would not have been able to return to the Netherlands due to the corona crisis.

When imposing the fine, the housing association does not look at the duration of the subletting frequency. There is a chance present in cases not in a situation state until the damage suffered.
