Rospotrebnadzor decided to lift restrictions on the import of peppers, pomegranates, grapes, grapefruits and oranges from Turkey into Russia, according to the agency’s website.
The authorized bodies of Turkey have brought the requirements for control over the intake of pesticides in sugar products. Cases were also clarified to cover previously discovered communities.
It is noted that thanks to the work carried out, it was possible to draw attention to the control of pesticides both from the Ministry of Development and Forestry, and from manufacturers and exporters of products.
“The decision to lift the restrictions was based on exit restrictions, the results of an inspection of the centers for the production and export of fruits and vegetables, during which Rospotrebnadzor specialists took product samples for laboratory research. department.
Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor decided to suspend the import of lemons from one of the Turkish producers to Russia. The pesticide chlorpyrifos has been found in citrus fruits. The study showed that they exceeded the maximum permissible level.
To this end, the ministry introduced a temporary ban on the import of tangerines from the Turkish company Fikret Degirmenci due to the detection of pesticides in them.
