“Move and stay healthy while continuing to drink beer”… Julien Bonnardel knows how to address the people of Lyon. This CrossFit enthusiast for 8 years decided to start with his partner, Dorian Koob.
Their gym, CrossFit Heka, has been open since April 4 in Part-Dieu, rue Lavoisier, in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon. “The challenge is to seek out employees to make them move. For example, they can come for an hour between noon and two”.
Getting employees of Part-Dieu companies to move
Classes have started and the formula seems clear to new members. Julien Bonnardel already has contacts with large companies in the surrounding area, such as Caisse d’Épargne, Nexity, CGDIM and even a subsidiary of the SNCF. “Companies can exempt these courses from tax, because I am listed as a gym. CrossFit will allow their employee to be in better health, to decompress. »
The first session offered: “We quickly become addicted”
For individuals who would be afraid to discover CrossFit after work in the Part-Dieu sector, the first session is free. “We even set up a foundation course to discover CrossFit with one of our three coaches,” explains Julien Bonnardel.
Then, for 69 euros per month, members are entitled to two group sessions with a coach. And for 10 euros more, the courses are unlimited.
“You quickly become addicted”, assures the trainer and manager of Heka CrossFit, for whom this activity has changed everything: “I quit smoking, I sleep better… and I continue to enjoy life. »
