Ajaccio, Paris FC and Sochaux confirm, Nancy almost doomed
Ajaccio, Paris FC and Sochaux as boss
The top 5 of Ligue 2 continues its infernal rhythm. After the victories of Auxerre and Toulouse earlier this Saturday, the other big ones chained at the top of the classification, all outside. AC Ajaccio thus took second place from AJA, thanks to a clear victory on the field of Dijon (3-0).
Also solid success for Sochaux, which was able to count on its luxury jokers: Virginius and Kitala. The two scored a few minutes after coming into play, to allow the Sochaliens to win on the field of Nîmes Olympique (3-1), and to stay up to Paris FC, 4th with 60 points as well. The Parisians won by the narrowest of margins in Rodez, thanks to Moustapha Name’s fifth but in Ligue 2 (1-0).
First home defeat for Bastia
The ordeal continues for Dunkirk: the Northerners have chained a fourth defeat in a row against Grenoble, a direct competitor in the maintenance. The Grenoble residents, 3-0 away winners, come out of the red zone and smoke six points ahead of the Dunkirks, stuck in 19th place in the Championship.
For Nancy, relegation to National has never seemed so close. The Lorrainers conceded a 20th defeat this season against Niort (2-0). They are ten points behind the barrage Rodez, whom they face on Tuesday.
In other matches, Bastia’s invincibility at home ended against Guingamp (1-2). The Corsicans could regret the second but from the Bretons, tied with one hand from Pierrot. Amiens and Caen drew (1-1) and Le Havre beat Valenciennes (1-0).
