To do this, it annually conducts a safety audit and always to seed centers. She noted that in order to eliminate redundant barriers, it is necessary to analyze regulatory documents, so that in the end it would simplify the process of variety testing, seed production, entering crops and hybrids into the State Register as much as possible.
“It is necessary to promptly adopt a subprogram on seed production of vegetable crops and its subsequent financing. It should be targeted – to compensate for the costs incurred by seed producers, for the construction of seed centers and farms, ”said the deputy.
In addition, the participants of the meeting, including the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, supported the proposal to provide seed enterprises with land on preferential terms and introduce a public-private mechanism.
In turn, the executive director of the Russian Greenhouse Association, Natalya Rogova, drew attention to the fact that at present the seed industry consists of a number of companies, and 85% of the seeds in Russia are imported. At the same time, Russian companies have individual hybrids and cucumbers for light culture, tomatoes and some of them. According to her, if companies will be consumed that distribute their products, then in less than two years they will increase the volume,
Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Irina Donnik, speaking about the need to intensify the work of Russian breeders, noted that the Ministry of Agriculture is currently considering the issue of subsidies to this industry.
In conclusion, Nadezhda Shkolkina emphasized that today in Russia there is the development of industry unions, there are large agricultural holdings and enterprises, and there are quite modern laboratories in scientific and agricultural universities.
“The only thing left is the development of the mechanism of symbiosis is the science and the frequency of infection,” she revealed.
