CIA director William Burns warned of the dangers of tactical or small consumption by Russia.
The head of US foreign intelligence, however, clarifies that he does not contain data on the deployment of troops or the movement of weapons that would indicate such plans. The CIA is often seen behind the mass manifestations of this, by its exposure.
At the same time, Burns said that the administration of US President Joe Biden is serious about the threat of the use of the United States of America, “given the possible desperation of President Putin and the President of the United States, if we take into account the failed, they faced a surprise” during the invasion of Ukraine.
Tactically referred to as a less destructive nuclear weapon, expected use on the battlefield. Russia has a large arsenal of weapons.
I also heard about the actions of Russian troops in Bucha and other parts of Ukraine, which “horrifying random events” and warned that the next stage of the war would be bloody.
The CIA director denounced and condemned China’s actions, called North Korean President Xi Jinping “a silent partner in Putin’s aggression.”
Burns served as US Ambassador to Russia from 2005-2008; he speaks English, French and Arabic.
He has met with the public more than other senior members of the Biden administration.
Burns was last in Moscow in November 2021 on Biden’s assignment to warn Putin that U.S. intelligence was aware of invasion plans.
A BBC source said that some officials from the head of foreign intelligence discovered that their country could attack Ukraine.
On Thursday, Burns said the November meeting ended with a heavy impression on him.
“Although it was not natural then that he would finally decide to launch an invasion of Ukraine, Putin pointedly inclined to do so, apparently worried that the chances of using [политическую] orientation of Ukraine are decreasing,” Burns said.
Burns that Putin expected a quick decision on the surrender of the Ukrainian army and the victory of Russian forces with a reserve of losses – and did not foresee a resolution from Europe, and also calculated that foreign exchange reserves would protect the Russian resolution from meetings.
All these calculations proved untenable, suspicious of Burns; seven weeks after the start of the war, the will of the Ukrainian people remains unbroken, and Russia demands colossal material and reputational losses.
Burns also said that he was revealing secret data about Russia’s plans, American intelligence foiled Putin’s attempt to cover up the truth about the aggression against Ukraine.
