Russian Foreign Ministry: Kyiv delays negotiation process with Moscow – Russia |
April 13th. Interfax-Russia.ru – The Ukrainian side is deliberately delaying the negotiation process with Russia, which is currently ongoing in an online format, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
“Russian-Ukrainian peculiarities continue under the regulation agreement on the settlement of the situation in Ukraine, they continue in an online format,” Zakharova said at a briefing on Wednesday.
According to her, “on the agenda are issues of Ukraine’s natural, non-bloc, non-nuclear status, its demilitarization and denazification, the restoration of the Russian language, territorial realities, including the Russian fixation of Crimea and the independence of the DPR and LPR.”
“Unfortunately, the Ukrainian category, as it has been recommended for all 7-8 years, if necessary, 7 years, since we are talking about a contact group in the Normandy format, directs efforts towards reaching agreements, but at delaying negotiations. This tactic I know,” Zakharova said.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that “no supply of Western weapons to Kiev, practical methods of warfare by the Ukrainian armed forces, negligible intimidation, propaganda, disinformation, will negligibly interfere with the fulfillment of goals and objectives, were involved in the work of the bodies of the Russian Federation.”
“We are talking about an operation to liberate Donbass, demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, and eliminate the threat to Russia that came from this territory,” Zakharova said.
