the get vaccinated has not finished talking about him. the major of Georges Brassens College, located in Montastruc-la-Conseillère, northeast of Toulouse and one spanish teacher have been, since April 5, the subject of an “interpellation summons” issued by a bailiff. The reason ? A college student was private of one school trip Fr Spain due to a lack of vaccination pass.
In order to participate in this project in the Iberian Peninsula scheduled in a few days, the college management reserves the trip for teenagers whose vaccination pass is complete or those who have a certificate of recovery. covid. All teenagers will be hosted by Spanish families.
“They thus unilaterally rule out the possibility, however provided for by law, of simply justifying a negative RT PCR test before departure, and thereby applying vaccination pressure on unvaccinated children”, explains the united collective “Childhood and Freedoms”.
Criminal liability?
While the Spanish Ministry of Health still considers France to be a “country at risk”, the group believes that the teenager is the victim of “discrimination on grounds of health, extortion and complicity in the extortion of free and informed consent, violence psychological, physical violence, deliberate endangerment”.
Despite several attempts, the dialogues between the different parties never came to fruition. As a result, the student’s parent, supported by lawyers and associations for the defense of children, issued an interpellation to the principal of the college and the teacher concerned in order to draw their attention to their criminal responsibility.
“This document, adopted in the general code of the public service, enjoins them “to immediately cancel the contested decision, to stop and to have the necessary measures and sanctions stopped”, failing to expose themselves personally to criminal proceedings. »
New reception conditions in Spain
For tourists with a health pass, the entry form has been abolished since April 7 in Spain. On the other hand, the whole territory is subject to new “rules of normality”:
• Wearing a mask is compulsory for anyone over the age of 6 in indoor spaces open to the public or open to the public, outdoors during mass events and on all public transport.
Regarding entry into Iberian territory, it is subject to the presentation of one of these documents:
• A digital Covid certificate from the EU;
• A certificate justifying complete vaccination against Covid-19 for at least 14 days;
• A screening test certificate for active infection, negative result, issued within 24 hours (antigen test) or within 72 hours (PCR test) prior to arrival in the territory;
• A Covid-19 recovery certificate.
The establishment is defending itself against the accusations
Faced with the “controversy” which caused many parents of students to react far beyond Toulouse, the management of the establishment wanted to defend themselves against the accusations.
“The travel agency has instructed a local structure to ensure and guarantee the quality of the reception of the participants in the trip in Spanish families, explains the director. However, this structure requires that all children and host families present a complete vaccination schedule, both to ensure the safety of host families and that of the children and caregivers received throughout the year. Host families are also free to set the conditions for receiving their guests in their homes. »
“The organization has not changed its family reception conditions and also specifies that the requirements are the same in all European countries. All participants, students and accompanying persons, are therefore obliged to submit to it. »
In response to this justification, “Enfance et Libertés” specifies that “the two officials have 8 days to respond in writing to this summons and comply with the law and put an end to this illegal abuse. The collective adds that this example is not an isolated case and that other teachers and heads of establishments could be prosecuted soon.
