The festival in Prague will show the need for creative thinking in education
Interested students, students, educators and the general public can look forward to discussions and practical workshops that will show how creative education can change education. The event, organized by the Platform for Creative Learning and the Prague Innovation Institute together with other organizations, will take place in Prague from 15 to 21 April. Representatives of Prague and Prague organizations told the press today.
“We live in a world of defined change and its speed. Therefore, in education, one cannot rely on the repetition of learned patterns, but on the fact that unique challenges require unique solutions, “said the director of the Prague Innovation Institute Bohumil Kartous.
According to its organizers, the program of the Prague festival is aimed primarily at teachers. They will learn, among other things, the development of both creativity, what are the trends of modern education and how to involve creative thinking in teaching.
The 2030+ Strategy also aims to develop the competencies needed for life and to develop the potential of pupils and students. The document was previously drafted by the Ministry of Education and approved by the previous government. The main goals are to reduce inequalities and develop so-called key competences. Experts generally identify key competences as a set of knowledge, skills and abilities that are important for a person’s application in society.
The Prague Innovation Institute established the capital in the form of a registered institute in January 2020. The institute focuses, among other things, on supporting the development of education and business in the metropolis. It also organizes meetings of the Prague Innovation Council and manages the Business and Innovation Center.
