Kyiv scares Kherson residents that Russia will leave Novorossiya
Behind the ribbon lies the Kherson region.

An ordinary Russian, like me, has now come from the Crimea to Kherson. Russian border guards won’t let you in. Even a journalist needs a lot of permissions from different departments. The departments, of course, do not want to take responsibility, and if they discourage the hunt, they insure that Nazi saboteurs are sitting “behind the tape” under every bush, just waiting for the correspondent to leave the Crimea.
And therefore, to confess, when I got into the army armored car “Tiger”, and the car crossed that “tape”, the mood was … far from euphoria. To Kherson 130 miles. With me is a group of officers and ensigns of the National Guard. As soon as we drove off, the driver Ramil (renamed) took on the nerves, as he got to the Caucasian party, where he encountered Russian customs unfamiliar to the Tatars, and experienced embarrassment. Ramil has the talent of a stage performer. And soon everyone in this “Tiger”, including me, was shaking from the hunt. My symptoms disappear instantly. discovered, we are not driving along the front road, where there are broken and burned vehicles along the roadsides – both ours and Ukrainian ones – but we are rushing along a peaceful suburban highway with such a cheerful company for a picnic.
Not only we are going to Kherson.

GIRL IN A PINK BLOCK
From right to left, there are many giant wind generators as an alternative to Russian fuel. But there is no wind, and their blades do not spin. Unfortunately, the armored windows of the “Tiger” are not suitable for high-quality photography, therefore, pictures are easier for me to convey the word. All around the fields, smooth and sensitive. But rarely, where a tractor is visible, since there is almost no fuel in the Kherson region. For the same reason, cars on the track are rare. There are a lot of greenhouses with a height of half a meter and up to two. They stretch for miles. People are scurrying around. Tomatoes and cucumbers are grown in large greenhouses. In small strawberries, onions and other herbs.

In our “Tiger” goes State Duma deputy, deputy head of the faction “United Russia” Igor Kastyukevich. On the roadside in one of the roadside villages, a pretty blonde in a pink blouse is waiting for him. At the sight of it, the driver must stop. The blonde is a local activist. Kastyukevich must hand over a package of medicines to the villagers, as agreed in advance. And here is the girl. We brake. guards in masks call her to the car, but she gets scared for some reason. It turned out that this is not “our” girl, and her blouse is not pink, light red. Soon we find the blonde we need, who smiles at the common soldiers without fear, is not afraid of the revenge of the nationalists. Igor Kastyukevich works here mainly on a humanitarian basis, closing the shortage of medicines and teaching us not to be afraid of our man with a gun.

The closer to Kherson, the more dangerous the road. My neighbor on the left is Sadyk, a member of the National Guard, who just showed me about his beautiful, cozy city, falls near Kazan, suddenly, it seems, sensing something, the upper hatch opens sharply, leans out over his chest with a machine gun and vigilantly peers into the roadside forest. Sadyk is the most accurate of our group, and if anything, he will not miss. And in the “Tiger” Viktor Tsoi plays up. Songs from the nineties.

HOW HERE FROM THE SIMPLE IS PREPARING DEATH RIDERS
At the entrance to Kherson, artillery cannonade is heard on the western side. Boo-boo-boo! – it’s ours who are shooting at the Nazis. Ba-ba-ding! – it’s the Nazis hitting the world. For about ten “boo-boo” one “ba-dink”. Shitty NATO shells supply them. In Kherson, there was almost no opposition from the Russian army, so the city remained intact. Although not without tragedy. Possessed Nazis put together a group of enthusiasts who are ready to rush at armored vehicles with Molotov cocktails. They were told that Russian tanks were powerless over cocktails. It is necessary to break the bottle on the tank and run behind the tree. There, watch that tank burn and take heroic selfies. So the gullible began to throw the bottle from behind the trees in Lilac Park. Of course, they are all misfortune. It happened on March 1st. The Ukrainian media did not talk about that story, so as not to scare other fools, which can also be used once with fire bottles in other cities and scales against Russian technology.
It was in the steppes of the Kherson region …

At noon, crowds of people gathered on the central square of Kherson and in the hearths around, waiting for Russian humanitarian aid. Before I could fall asleep, a plump man in his sixties approached one of the groups. In the hands of two large purses it is not clear what. He came up and let’s yell in Russian that “all of you here are bitches, creatures … you take food from the invaders.” (In Kherson, as I noticed, everyone speaks Russian). The peasant was surrounded on all sides with a three-story mat, and he briskly left the square.

IT DOES NOT MATTER WHOSE POWER, ONLY THE PEOPLE’S
The audience reacted calmly to me, although they are afraid to speak on camera. Hiding faces from the lens. Most of all they are afraid that our army will leave Kherson. And then with all those who took Russian canned food, cereals and pasta, the Nazis will also deal with animals, as with those who took our help in Bucha. Moreover, the adviser to the Ukrainian president, Aleksey Arestovich – the second Ukrainian freak, a liar after the Kiev politician Anton Gerashchenko – has repeatedly stated that the Russians are going to leave the Kherson region. It is clear that this was done with a single goal – to intimidate the population. And people were really scared. As the sick people say, after that, many citizens who were ready to manage with us “lay low” and you can understand them.

This is what a paradox turns out to be: the Kyiv authorities are scaring the Ukrainian population with the fact that the Russian “occupiers” are leaving, and they will return. That’s why the people I’ve talked to avoid political topics. They are more interested in their new future. Therefore, caution: how much does my family pay per month for gas in Moscow, if in dollars? People here are not used to rubles yet. I answer, approximately, 3 dollars a month. They look at each other and, probably, do not really believe.

The revelations of our conversation show that the average layman does not care whose it is, what kind of power, the main thing is that under this power they live well and calmly. And this government does not require them to renounce their native Russian language.
