Strong cooling is expected for Easter
Budapest – According to most forecasts, a strong cooling is expected for Easter: the temperature may drop by 8-10 degrees Celsius compared to Good Friday, the National Meteorological Service said on its Facebook page on Monday.
As they explained, anticyclone will shape the weather for the rest of the week until Friday: warmer, dry air is coming over the country. On Thursdays and Fridays, peak temperatures can be above 20 degrees in large areas and the night frosts will disappear temporarily.
On the other hand, a cold front passes over Hungary, so there may be more rain, but only a small amount of precipitation. From Saturday following the front, the northwestern, north wind will flood the Carpathians, causing the temperature to drop by almost 8-10 degrees to Friday’s pool by Easter Sunday.
The wind will be strong in a large area on Saturdays and Sundays, and frosts may return from Easter Monday, he added.
In addition to the showers, there may be ice showers in some places, as well as some showers, the meteor service wrote.
