After the Budapest Fashion Week, seven Hungarian fashion brands successfully presented themselves in the Italian citadel of Italy in the framework of the joint International Mentoring Program of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (MDDÜ) and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI).

Four brands – Abodi, Elysian, Kata Szegedi and Thefour – proved themselves at the runway of the Budapest Select Collective Fashion Show on February 26, where they presented their latest collections. All seven brands were able to present themselves at the Fashion HUB showroom, and Cukovy also gave a separate presentation for winning the Buyers Award, the biggest professional recognition for buyers.
As highlighted in the announcement, the interest in Hungarian talent was demonstrated at several venues during the Milan Fashion Week. International visitors came to the exhibition hall of Fashion HUB all week long, the Budapest Select Collective Fashion Show was followed live by almost 250 visitors. In addition to the catwalks, famous professionals such as Sara Sozzani Maino, head of Vogue Talents, Carlo Capasa, head of CNMI or journalist and fashion critic Suzy Menkes watched the presentation of the Hungarian brands in the auditorium, but Vogue Italia, Elle Italia, WWD, Staff from Grazie, Diva, Pambianco, MF Fashion and Fashion Chanel were also there.
The venues showcasing the Hungarian collections were also visited by a number of international resellers, distributors and wholesalers, including the Italian MDM7 and the Japanese Marubeni, as well as the Sari spazio showroom and Sudio Zeta. The works of the Hungarian talents could also be exhibited in the Budapest Central European Showroom in the building of the ADI Design Museum, which also expanded the sales opportunities of the brands, for which the Hungarian brands were presented for the seventh time under the Budapest Select umbrella brand.
