On April 10, the 12th anniversary of the Smolensk disaster will be celebrated. In state capitals of the amount of state and state powers. There will also be film screenings and concerts. The program of Sunday celebrations was already prepared by law in early April. As announced, the ceremony in Warsaw will begin on April 10 at 8 am from 8 to Józef the Bridegroom at Krakowskie Przedmieście. Thanks to this, at At 8:41 a memorial assembly is scheduled in front of the Presidential Palace. Also there will be the Angelus (noon) and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy (15).

At 7 p.m. in the Cathedral Basilica of the Martyrdom of St. John the Baptist at Świętojerska, a mass will be held for the victims of the catastrophe. The government will take part in it. At 9 p.m. before the president’s visit, a speech by the deputy prime minister and the president of PiS, Jarosław Kaczyński, is scheduled.

Laying wreaths at Piłsudski Square

It also became the anniversary of the disaster associated with the anniversary of the Smolensk anniversary of wreaths. Such events should first of all take place at Piłsud Square in front of the Monument to the Victims of the Smolensk Tragedy and in front of the monument to President Lech Kaczyński.

The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland informed that President Andrzej Duda was to arrive there around 12:15. The Smolensk disaster

On April 10, 2010, 96 people were killed in the crash of the Tu-154 plane, which was flying the state delegation for the certificates of the 70th civil anniversary of Katyn, including President Lech Kaczyński and his president Maria, the highest military commanders and the President of the Republic of Poland in exile Ryszard Kaczorowski.
