According to VG, this is promoted as a representative proposal by four of the party’s parliamentary representatives – party leader Sylvi Listhaug, Hans Andreas Limi, Morten Wold and Bård Hoksrud.
– Enough is enough. Money reigns, patients suffer. We must have stopped doing that, says Hoksrud, who is the party’s health policy spokesperson.
The proposal states, among other things, that «it is unfortunate that the Decision Forum has only the four managing directors of the health trusts and one observer from the user committees».
The four ask Norway to look at Denmark’s model for approval, which is, among other things, a council that makes decisions on recommendations. This council consists of 16 members and four observers.
Enough is enough. Money reigns, patients suffer. We must end that.

The proposal also has, among other things, a point that more consideration must be given to patients and less to price. The representatives also point out that on average 176 days before medicines are introduced in Denmark, while the corresponding figure in Norway is 414 days.
Minister of Health and Care Services Ingvild Kjerkol (Labor Party) states that she will answer the Storting in the case before she comments on it above VG.
