“Red Cross” proposed not to legitimize the export of Ukrainian citizens to Russia
Ukraine has proposed an International Red Cross Society (IRCS) not affiliated with the Rostov-on-Don office, arguing that this legitimizes the organized transport of “humanitarian corridors” and the capture and removal of Ukrainian citizens.
Russian media reported that the head of the ICCO, Peter Maurer, responded to Russia about opening an office in Rostov-on-Don.
Mikhail chairs the Verkhovna Rada Council for Health Care, Medical Assistance and Medical Insurance, pays the Red Cross from this plan.
In his regard, in particular, it says: “Such actions of the terrorist society of the Red Cross in the event of the abduction and removal of our citizens by the enemy to the Russian Federation, to the temporarily occupied or annexed and uncontrolled territory of Ukraine, which is already passing today, is unacceptable.”
The ICCO has not yet commented on the situation.
Russia said it had “evacuated” several hundred thousand residents of Ukraine. Ukraine claims that Russia found the deported people, including about 15,000 Ukrainians.
As a result of Russian invasions, about 4 million Ukrainians became refugees.
