Three hundred and sixty villages receive support to prepare a town planning plan
Budapest – All Hungarian villages that submit valid applications – three hundred and sixty settlements – will receive support for their settlement planning plans, the government commissioner responsible for the development of modern settlements said.
Alpár Gyopáros said that it is important for the people of the village that an orderly image of the settlement awaits the visitors, and the settlement planning plan also serves this purpose, in the framework of which the local government together with the inhabitants of the village will find out what, how and where to build.
As this is “not cheap fun”, the government has announced a tender to the villages in accordance with the program of the Hungarian village, in order to provide support for the elaboration of the settlement planning plan, planning and official work, he explained.
He emphasized that the government had thus contributed HUF 858 million to the further development of Hungarian villages.
“We will continue this work, so small settlements can expect similar support,” the government commissioner said.
