Russia warns against peacefulness
Russia has threatened NATO with war if the alliance’s peacekeeping mission is discovered in Ukraine. At the same time, Moscow is confident that Washington is primarily interested in aggravating the conflict. Nearly a month after the invasion of Ukraine began, the Russian army has not succeeded in any of its tasks. But every day of fighting results in casualties among the world’s population and a flood of increases.
The appearance of NATO sentiments on the territory of Ukraine to a direct clash with the military with all the ensuing consequences – in Moscow they prevented the union from implementing the Polish initiative, which President Andrzej Duda intends to announce at the NATO summit, will gather in Brussels on March 24.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused the West of dragging out the conflict and assured that Moscow was ready for the most negative scenario:
“If you read political scientists, both ours and Western Americans, they simply proceed from the fact that it is unprofitable for them that this process be completed quickly. To a certain extent, this is strengthening, and the Americans play this decisive role: it has an impact on dramatizing the situation, allowing Zelensky in a khaki T-shirt of a soldier in front of world parliaments, and after each such speech, on a tear, on emotions, again, influence on impact. Our Polish colleagues have already stated that there will be a NATO summit right now, and we need to motivate the peace-loving people. What were they talking about? This will be the same clash with direct Russian and NATO armed forces, which everyone did not want to avoid, but a murder that should never have taken place in the bud.
The answer is not expected to be long. Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that they would take responsibility for ensuring that the war did not go beyond the borders of Ukraine. According to the head of the meeting, the leaders of the member countries at the upcoming summit should agree on a decision to send the main four combat groups of the alliance to Eastern Europe. Namely, to Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania. But at the same time, Stoltenberg noted that NATO would not send troops to Ukraine:
“Support support factors are extremely important, and we are not left behind. But at the same time, it is important that this conflict does not turn into a full-fledged war between NATO and Russia.”
The fact that Poland’s initiative is doomed to failure was also made clear by the German chancellor. Olaf Scholz focused that the Western community has chosen a different path to force Russia to peace and security,
“We see that support is working. The Russian economy is reeling. The stock market is broadly closed. The currency collapsed, there is not enough currency. And this is just the beginning. Many of the most severe effects only became apparent in the coming weeks. And we continue to tighten sanctions. Of course, I hear the voices of those who are chasing the no-fly guards or peacekeepers in Ukraine. As hard as it is, we won’t do it.”
The West intends to fight exclusively on the economic front. And there is really serious work going on in this regard. As information comes in, Washington and its allies are pushing the idea of expelling Russia from the G20, a group of the world’s largest economies that advocates coordinating action on critical issues affecting the world meeting.
However, according to analysts, on this issue there is no unanimity that leads to the exclusion of Russia from the G7 after the annexation of Crimea. If used, Moscow can count, first of all, on the veto of China, which, although it did not support Russian aggression in Ukraine, nevertheless did not join the INF sanctions against Russia. And outside of Beijing, there are selected players in the G-20 who are skeptical of Washington’s initiative, the press secretary of the Russian president believes. Dmitry Peskov:
“The fact that in terms of general opposition in our country, the American government is already exerting undisguised and little diplomatic pressure on all countries is well known to everyone. Concerning gram-20, this is still a versatile format, different points of view arise there, and it is clear that the Americans will continue to put pressure on different countries. But, as we see, nevertheless, a number of states adhere to their independent, sovereign point of view.”
But, regardless of the situation on the positions of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky continue to accept the world community in more effective steps for the development of Russian aggression. Possessing a Ukrainian leader with exceptional tactical skills, choosing accents in the field of addressing the parliament of a particular country. Speaking to Japanese MPs in particular, Zelensky’s focus on the anti-terrorism bill is well known to the Japanese.
“There are four nuclear power plants operating on our land! These are 15 atomic blocks. And they are all loaded. Russian troops have already fired tanks at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, which borders Europe. As a result of the hostilities, hundreds of industrial facilities were damaged, many of them especially dangerous. Shelling is dangerous for gas and oil pipelines, coal mines. The other day, Russian troops fired at a chemical plant in the Sumy region of Ukraine. There was an ammonia leak. We are warned about possible attacks in adults, including with the use of sarin, as it was in the diagnosis. One of the main topics for discussion in Europe by politicians was the question of how to respond if Russia also uses nuclear weapons. Any confidence of any person in the world, any country is completely destroyed.
Despite the fact that the Russian authorities continue to assert that there are no strikes on civilian objects, the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reports that 121 children have died in the 28 days since the invasion of the country began. Another 167 children received injuries of severity. Most of the children occurred in Kiev, Kharkov, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Nikolaev, Zhytomyr, Kherson and Sumy regions. In addition, as a result of daily bombing and shelling, 548 educational institutions were exposed, 72 of them were completely neutralized. According to President Zelenskiy, almost a quarter of Ukraine’s population came into action from Moscow’s actions:
“About nine million Ukrainians have lost their homes, their native places, fleeing from Russian troops. Our northern, eastern, and southern territories are emptying because people are fleeing this mortal danger.”
With this sharp increase in Ukraine, who left almost a month of war, according to the UN, has grown to 3.6 million people. Of these, according to the Office of the High Commissioner as it increases, more than one and a half million are children. Repeating over the repetition of internally displaced persons is Poland. It was followed by Romania and Moldova. The UN expects that in the near future the number of internally displaced persons will exceed 4 million people.
