“A terrible humanitarian catastrophe occurred in Mariupol as a result of lawlessness arranged by Ukrainian nationalists,” Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the Russian Defense Control Center, said on Sunday.
He stated that the Ukrainian formations staged “mass terror” in the heated quarters of the city.
Mizintsev said that the Russian side invites the organization to work on the removal of citizens from Mariupol.
“We are sending an official appeal to the UN, the OSCE, the International Red Cross and other organizations representing the interests of accompanying the practical activities of this humanitarian activity, as it is called, it is important on the “ground”, that is, in the city of Mariupol, while necessarily as part of humanitarian organizations” column both Russian and Ukrainian sides,” Mizintsev said.
