Slovenia has also frozen fuel prices
Ljubljana – The Slovenian government has fixed the price of fuel for a month, the decree applies to 95-octane petrol as well as diesel, an announcement was made at Zdravko Pocivalsek’s economic press conference on Monday.
The price of eurosuper 95 was set by the Ministry at EUR 1,503 and that of Eurodiesel at EUR 1,541.
Pocivalsek said that in the next month, the government will monitor the development of purchase prices and react again if necessary. Not only consumers need to be protected, but also oil traders, he underlined.
In Croatia, fuel prices rose again from Tuesday. Zagreb has maximized the price of petroleum products several times recently. The regulation last expired last week. The government at the time did not re-freeze retail prices, instead fixing a trader margin of 0.7 per cent and temporarily reducing the excise duty on petrol and oil from 0.4 per cent to 0.2 per cent.
In Croatia, the price of eurosuper 95 will be 13.79 kunas per liter and diesel 14.13 kunas per liter from Tuesday.
