“United Russia” supported the appeal to the UN and the Parliamentary Assembly on the investigation of the activities of biological laboratories in Ukraine
On the territory of Ukraine, biological bacteria of the United States, which use genomic materials, conduct biological research in violation of the possible reproduction of weapons of mass destruction, said the Vice Speaker of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya at the press approach in the State Duma.
“This is natural-biological terrorism, hidden from eye activity, which is aimed at the massive spread of infection. It is important to understand that such biolaboratories in Ukraine, as well as in Georgia and along the perimeter with the border of our country, they collect biomaterials, are aimed at research and development of bioweapons in relation to specific ethnic groups, in relation to the Slavs, ”she drew attention.
And today, Russia is already using income to not only its citizens, but also Europe from real income, she added.
By decision of the defense committee Andrey Kartapolovthere is already evidence of the transfer of biological samples of Ukrainian citizens to the United States.
“One of the tasks of the United States is to create bioagents that can selectively affect various groups of the population, and this primarily applies to the Slavic ethnic group,” he said.
The parliamentarians also spoke in detail about some projects carried out in the laboratories of Ukraine.
“It is widespread among migratory birds. This method of distribution is one of the most reckless, as it does not allow you to control the development of the situation. Laboratories also worked with insects, rodents and other vectors. The project, where bats are considered as carriers, is extremely “interesting”. An analysis of the acts of infection shows the work with pathogens of pathogens, anthrax and brucellosis in the Lviv laboratory, diphtheria, salmonellosis and dysentery in the laboratories of Kharkov, Poltava and Yavorova, ”he said.
In turn, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma on Science Alexander Mazhuga the expected consequences of the use of bioweapons can be compared with the consequences of an epidemic.
“We remember that the plague claimed the lives of 85 million people, smallpox 65 million people, Spanish flu 50 million people. The Geneva Convention was adopted in 1925, followed by the Biological and Chemical Weapons Convention in the 1970s. We have always appealed to the UN and called for what is absolutely necessary to control, like everyday research, like microbiological and biotechnological experiments. In 2001, the United States completely replaced this protocol, which spoke of mutual control, ”the parliamentarian recalled.
Modern advances in molecular biology make it possible to make drug-resistant strains that are more dangerous for humans and animals – these are dual narrow-purpose technologies, Alexander Mazhuga.
“That is why work with especially dangerous pathogens must be precisely controlled, it must be transparent and open. We understand the danger – this is not only a threat to Russia, by and large – it is a threat to the whole world. It is necessary to objectively and comprehensively consider the activities of biological laboratories on the territory of Ukraine,” he said.
