Ice Hockey Oberliga, 6:0! Hannover Indians send the Saale Bulls Haale home with a pack
That’s what you call a tailwind for the play-offs: The Hannover Indians won the last home game of the regular season in the Oberliga ice hockey league 6-0 (2-0, 2-0, 2-0) against the Saale Bulls Halle. His euphoric course at the horse tower was the lap of honor in front of 2478 spectators, who wanted to give their team an additional boost towards the play-offs. Maybe we’ll see each other again on Friday if we keep fourth place in the European Championship.
classify the result correctly
Of course & they don’t apologize for this victory – one can be happy about such a clear success against the sovereign leader. Nevertheless, the result has to be classified correctly: The Saale Bulls only started with eleven field players. There is no question that the Indians played in the cards – just like the fact that the European Championship continued its strong performance on Tuesday (4:1 against Leipzig).
Igor Bacek (6th) and Tobias Möller (14th) ensure a 2-0 lead after the first third. Kyle Gibbons (22nd) increased shortly after the restart, the resistance of the staff-stricken guests seemed to be broken immediately. Bacek (31st) made it 4-0 before Robin Palka (49th, 60th) made it 6-0.
Scorpions are awarded points
The Hannover Scorpions were not in action on Friday due to corona cases within their team, their encounter with the Black Dragons Erfurt was cancelled. Whether the Scorpions will be able to play again on Sunday (6 p.m.) for another home game against Moskitos Essen will be decided on Saturday with PCR tests.
The Mellendorf team definitely got three points from last Sunday’s canceled party against the Tilburg Trappers. The Dutch are guilty of not showing up – because they had referred to an insufficient number of players due to the corona, but there were enough players and they worked in the second team. Rating: three points and 5:0 goals for the Scorpions.
