Closed to traffic
After midday, several hundred people had gathered in the Bahnhofstrasse area. As a result, the police blocked the road between the main train station and Paradeplatz for all traffic.
“We are in action with dialogue teams and loudspeaker vans,” tweeted the Zurich city police. She pointed out to the demo participants that they would tolerate a march across the Sihlporte in the direction of Kreis 4. The vast majority of demo participants, on the other hand, moved peacefully to district 4, where they arrived shortly before 3 p.m.
The Zurich city police said that in addition to the use of funds at Löwenplatz, a civilian patrol had to use irritants because they were attacked by a hooded group.
