Give a chair, for example: a furniture bank for Ukraine operates in the Brno Exhibition Center
Nábytková banka has been operating at the Brno Exhibition Center in Hall G1 since Friday. Right from the opening, it is filled with new or used functional furniture that will serve people fleeing Ukraine from the Russian aggression.

The furniture bank in pavilion G1 at the Brno Exhibition Grounds is open every day, including weekends from 12 noon to 6 pm.

Representatives of the Brno company Sako will equip apartments and other spaces intended for Ukrainian families with donated chairs, beds or wardrobes from local citizens or companies.
Lukáš Stareček was the first to arrive at the Brno Exhibition Center with a chest of drawers attached to the roof of the Brno car. “I donated a bed with a positioning grate, a rustic sideboard and a locker to the furniture bank for the citizens of Ukraine,” Brňan said on the spot.

The guarantor of this project is the mayor’s deputy Petr Hladík. “A furniture bank to help Ukrainian families will operate for as long as it takes. We currently lack basic household equipment, especially tables, chairs, beds, but also kitchen units, bedding and mattresses, “said the deputy.
The operating hours of the Furniture Bank for Ukraine is every day, including weekends, from 12 to 6 p.m. In addition to furniture, people can donate functional refrigerators, freezers and washing machines. Arrival to Nábytková banka is through gate number 4 of the Brno Exhibition Center.
