Russia and Ukraine tried the first exchange of prisoners
LVOV – Russia and Ukraine have proposed the first prisoner exchange since the Kremlin ordered an invasion of a neighboring country six days ago.
But it came on a day of new chaos and destruction as Russian forces ramped up their attack across Ukraine, hitting civilian infrastructure and communications facilities, including Kyiv’s main TV tower and the country’s main Holocaust memorial.
As a result of the strike on television, which erupted in a fireball, a person, five Ukrainian authorities, were killed.
The Ministry of Defense tweeted that some Ukrainian channels will be out of service for some time.
Also under attack was the Holocaust memorial at Babi Yar, where in 1941 tens of thousands of offenders were killed in the two days that the city came under Nazi occupation.
Grad launchers unleashed strikes on an attacking but immediately recalcitrant Ukraine after the canteen of the Russian resident ejection side fled their homes, saying the strikes would be the result of security and intelligence influence, as well as dispersal targets to prevent “information attacks.” against Russia.
The Russian Ministry of Defense is gathering everyone who is close to such goals as the liberation of these areas.
“We are calling on … the residents of Kyiv, who live near the relay nodes, to leave their homes,” said Igor Konashenkov, a spokesman for the ministry.
Against the background of active actions of the side, both sides tried to exchange the first prisoners.
“The first exchange of prisoners took place in the Sumy region. We exchanged five people from the territorial administration for one head of the regional police,” Dmitry Zhyvitsky, a Ukrainian military official in the Sumy region, wrote on Telegram.
Ukrainian citizens said they infected 5,700 soldiers.
World problems between Russia and Ukraine should resume this week, but Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia should stop bombing Ukrainian cities before starting serious energy consumption in the first place.
