The Russians were warned about the cost of vouchers for the sale Russian news EN
Tourism industry forecasts warned of possible implications for future risks amid the situation in Ukraine. This is reported RIA News.
Thus, Igor Blinov, director of development of travel agencies OnlineTur.ru, said that at present, despite the increase in prices for tours, it is not profitable for tour operators to sell vouchers, since the limited collapse of the ruble is due to their monetary loss. “Now sold single,” he added.
According to the CEO of Space Travel tour operator Artur Muradyan, the situation will be similar to March 2020, “when the market stood up.” The specialist noted that at the moment there is “no acceptance” of money from tourists for companies, since the issue of paying for transfers for transportation still remains.

“The second risk is that if by the time the payment is collected, the exchange rate rises further, the tour operator will be forced to incur financial losses due to the additional purchase of the missing amounts in foreign currency from possible funds,” Muradyan said.
On February 25, the executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), Maya Lomidze, advised domestic tourists not to plan trips to Europe in the near future. The expert noted that the fate of Europe as a tourist destination is “incomprehensible” at this point.
Earlier, the government suggested that the European Union grant visas to all Russians due to a short connection in Ukraine. Secretary of State for Surveillance and Asylum Sammi Mahdi noted that “the reckless attitude towards Russia forces us to be careful with Russians who want to come to Belgium.”
