“The Fastest Food Plaza” started in Frankfurt
The world of Cloud Kitchen is becoming more and more diverse. With “The Fastest Food Plaza in Frankfurt”, the start-up CloudEatery is launching a new digital ordering experience that combines a large selection and fast delivery. The delivery service comes to the customer in just a few minutes and brings vegans, curries or cakes and other trendy dishes from six specially designed culinary brands that would otherwise have to be ordered from individual restaurants. “The Fastest Food Plaza in Frankfurt” offers a virtual and real food court experience and opens up a whole new gastronomy segment.
The company’s founders designed the CloudEatery concept in such a way that it makes the usual pain points of delivery services its strengths
All processes contribute to the fulfillment of the extraordinary “speed promise”. In the kitchen, all processes are digitized throughout and create an unprecedented level of transparency in gastronomy. All dishes are planned in such a way that they are finalized in a few minutes after ordering and ready for delivery at the same time. In addition, the dishes are particularly suitable for delivery – almost without the usual loss of quality during the delivery phase.
CloudEatery does not have its own driver pool and relies on the delivery service partners Lieferando, Uber Eats, Eatura and Wolt. This means that sufficient delivery capacities and experienced staff are available even at peak times, while the company’s own resources can be used to quickly prepare and prepare meals. Alternatively, the first location in Frankfurt invites you to pick it up or to have it relaxed on-site in the stylish location. It can be ordered via the delivery services and via the CloudEatery app, which was programmed by our own tech team.
Fun food and hip brands that awaken dreams
The particularly fast delivery is a trump card that distinguishes CloudEatery from delivery providers. In addition, put the makers of the speed concept on the attractiveness of their food activity selection and presentation. The real USP lies in the apparently contradictory combination of variety and speed.
As in a virtual marketplace, CloudEatery presents authentic dishes with its brands:
- Vegan Pirates (vegan)
- NokoNoko (fresh & healthy)
- Hello Darling! (home cooking)
- Nonna Filomena (Italian)
- Curry Tyga (Asian Curries)
- Lilly Krokant (cakes and sweets).
With their versatility, the six different brands dominate the range of international cuisine as well as the relevant current trends – and therefore simply every taste and every consumption occasion. The unloved compromise of a group order with the necessary decision for a certain type of food such as “pizza or Asian” is now a thing of the past with CloudEatery.
The attention to detail in the menu ranges from the “Greeny Weedy Burger with green hemp patty and hot red cole slaw in the Black Burger Bun” to home-style cooking and Zurich sliced meat – optionally with dumplings, spaetzle, potatoes or rice – and the best curry that Asia has to offer has to offer, to magical, mostly vegan cakes and tarts – completely crumb-free because nothing is left of them.
What the future will bring – a quick look
At the start in Frankfurt, the company founders Matthias Schneider and Remo Gianfrancesco are full of expectations. “We want to make delivery meals faster, better, more reliable and more sustainable,” says managing director Schneider, who, as a food entrepreneur, has relevant experience in the field of delivery service business and business start-ups and takes care of the fine-tuning of kitchen processes as well as branding and marketing. “We deliberately chose Frankfurt as a business and lifestyle location for the pilot with CloudEatery. Medium and long-term goals we focus on the national and European dimensions”. For Germany, the current motto is to open new locations in relevant cities every two or three months. Together with international financial investors, the basis for the international roll-out will be laid in the coming months.
Managing Director Remo Gianfrancesco, who was previously responsible for purchasing in European countries at the world’s largest caterer, is responsible for the commercial, locations and logistics of various companies. As a purchasing professional, he enables the Operations and Culinary team to stringently develop and implement culinary concepts and brands. “Our concept also works so well because we already meet the requirements for fulfilling our customer promises when purchasing good products. The ingredients can also be used efficiently for all brands. All dishes take about the same amount of time to prepare,” explains founder Gianfrancesco. “If we want to, we can create a new brand with a new food offer within a very short time and implement it within the CloudEatery offer.”
There are also likely to be no limits to the further development of the app’s own software, which is 100% cloud-based. The CloudEatery app, which works like a backend and makes all processes digitally controllable, is continuously adapted to the experiences in ongoing business, and both the customer journey and the operative can thus be further optimized. “The decision and also the investment in our own, self-developed software is a pillar of the entire concept,” say the food service professionals. “Two high-performance servers in southern Germany ensure high security and availability.
